What We Do

The Joyce Ivy Foundation broadens the college aspirations of high potential young women from the Midwest, primarily through the Joyce Ivy Summer Scholars program.

The Foundation seeks to provide exposure, encouragement, counsel, financial assistance, and employment support to young women who have the academic, intellectual, and leadership potential to attend the nation's most selective institutions of higher education.

The Joyce Ivy Foundation is also a forum for ideas and a source of information about the college admissions and financial aid process. We bring together educators, admissions and financial aid officers, alumni of selective colleges, and Midwest students and their families to exchange critical information about college admissions and financial aid.

In 2012, we launched the first Joyce Ivy College Admissions Symposium program — the first of its kind in the Midwest. We continue to offer the Symposium, and will also be piloting web-based information sessions about college admissions and financial aid.

Currently, the Joyce Ivy Foundation operates in Michigan, Ohio, Nebraska and Missouri. In 2013, we will be expanding to Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Your support will make this growth, and expanded opportunities for talented young women, possible.
